pierogi truskawkowe ze śmietaną (Drukuj)

Pierogi z truskawkami i śmietaną, delikatne ciasto z owocowym nadzieniem, idealne na słodki finał.

# Składniki:

→ Dough

01 - 2 cups all-purpose flour
02 - 1 large egg
03 - 1/2 cup water
04 - 1/2 teaspoon salt

→ Filling

05 - 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and chopped
06 - 1/4 cup sugar
07 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

→ Topping

08 - 1 cup sour cream
09 - 2 tablespoons sugar (optional)

# Kroki wykonania:

01 - In a large bowl, mix the flour and salt. Make a well in the center, add the egg and gradually pour in the water, mixing until a dough forms. Knead for about 5 minutes until smooth.
02 - Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest for 20 minutes.
03 - In a separate bowl, combine chopped strawberries, sugar, and vanilla extract. Let sit for 10 minutes to macerate.
04 - Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 1/8 inch thick. Cut into circles using a glass or cookie cutter.
05 - Place a small spoonful of the strawberry filling in the center of each circle. Fold the dough over, sealing the edges by pressing firmly.
06 - Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Drop the pierogi in batches and cook until they float to the surface, about 3-5 minutes.
07 - Remove with a slotted spoon and let drain. Serve warm with a dollop of sour cream on top, sweetened if desired.
