01 - In a mixing bowl, combine flour, egg, cottage cheese, sugar, salt, and baking powder. Knead until smooth and let rest for 10 minutes.
02 - In a separate bowl, mix apricot halves with 2 tbsp of sugar and cinnamon.
03 - Roll the dough out on a floured surface to about 1 cm thick. Cut out rounds using a glass or cookie cutter. Place an apricot half in the center of each round, fold the dough over, and seal tightly.
04 - Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Drop the dumplings in and cook for about 10-15 minutes, or until they float to the surface.
05 - In a skillet, melt the butter and add the bread crumbs. Toast until golden brown.
06 - Once cooked, remove the dumplings with a slotted spoon and roll them in the toasted bread crumbs. Serve warm, dusted with powdered sugar.
