Knedle z morelami i bułką (Drukuj)

Delikatne knedle z soczystym nadzieniem morelowym, obtaczane w złocistej, prażonej bułce tartej i posypane cukrem pudrem.

# Składniki:

→ Dough

01 - 250 g all-purpose flour
02 - 1 large egg
03 - 100 g cottage cheese
04 - 50 g sugar
05 - 1/2 tsp salt
06 - 1/2 tsp baking powder

→ Filling

07 - 8 apricots, pitted and halved
08 - 2 tbsp sugar
09 - 1 tsp cinnamon

→ Topping

10 - 100 g bread crumbs
11 - 50 g butter
12 - 2 tbsp powdered sugar

# Kroki wykonania:

01 - In a mixing bowl, combine flour, egg, cottage cheese, sugar, salt, and baking powder. Knead until smooth and let rest for 10 minutes.
02 - In a separate bowl, mix apricot halves with 2 tbsp of sugar and cinnamon.
03 - Roll the dough out on a floured surface to about 1 cm thick. Cut out rounds using a glass or cookie cutter. Place an apricot half in the center of each round, fold the dough over, and seal tightly.
04 - Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Drop the dumplings in and cook for about 10-15 minutes, or until they float to the surface.
05 - In a skillet, melt the butter and add the bread crumbs. Toast until golden brown.
06 - Once cooked, remove the dumplings with a slotted spoon and roll them in the toasted bread crumbs. Serve warm, dusted with powdered sugar.

# Uwagi:

01 - For added flavor, consider adding vanilla extract to the dough. You can replace apricots with peaches or plums for a variation.
